Terms

Welcome to Goldrush Newmarket! By engaging with our gaming platform, you agree to abide by the following terms, which ensure compliance with South African gambling laws and maintain a secure gaming environment.

Account Registration

  • Registration is open to individuals aged 18 and above.
  • Each customer is allowed only one account. Duplicate accounts will be deactivated, and only the original will remain active.
  • All registration information must be accurate and kept up to date.
  • Goldrush Newmarket reserves the right to accept or decline account applications at its discretion.

Deposits and Withdrawals

  • Deposits must originate from personal bank accounts. For amounts exceeding R10,000, proof of funds (e.g., bank statements or payslips) is required.
  • Deposits must be wagered at least once before withdrawal requests can be processed.
  • Withdrawals are subject to the verification of account details and compliance with all terms.

Responsible Gaming and Compliance

Goldrush Newmarket operates in strict adherence to the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA). Customers are required to:

  • Submit valid identification and proof of address during registration.
  • Provide documentation proving the source of funds for higher deposit amounts.

Betting Rules

  • Bets are subject to limits defined by Goldrush Newmarket.
  • Related contingency bets, where the outcome of one part influences another, are not permitted. For example, betting on a team to win a semi-final and the same team to win the tournament in a single bet will result in voiding.
  • Betting markets, minimum/maximum stake amounts, and payout limits are determined at Goldrush Newmarket’s discretion.

Fraud Prevention and Security

  • Customers are responsible for keeping their account credentials secure.
  • Suspicious activity, including multiple accounts or fraudulent behaviour, may result in suspension or account closure.
  • Any unauthorised activity must be reported immediately to Goldrush Newmarket.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, customers should contact Goldrush Newmarket directly for assistance. If unresolved, complaints may be escalated to the Gauteng Gambling Board for further review.

System Errors and Liability

Goldrush Newmarket is not responsible for:

  • Errors in event or game information.
  • System failures or technical issues that affect gameplay.
  • Losses resulting from unauthorised account use prior to reporting.
